The swatches below represent just a few of the natural stone options that are in stock or available. Much of the stone mined is from far reaches of the world – – way afar from Huntley, Illinois. Unusual, rare or more exotic stones are available but may require long lead time to get delivered. Call for more information.

Granites

Granite is an igneous rock of great beauty. It is a very durable and stain resistant stone due to its dense nonporous consistency, making it an excellent selection for those areas where food preparation and cutting takes place. It is most commonly used for kitchen countertops and exterior surfaces. Granite has a great resistance to abrasions and is totally recyclable, ecological and easy to maintain.

Marbles

Marble characteristics include rich colors and veining which gives the finished product a unique and distinctive look. It is a metamorphosed rock of outstanding quality with an extensive range of color. Travertines

Travertine is a sedimentary rock formed principally from calcium carbonate and formed millions of years ago. The earliest examples of this natural stone are found in Ancient Rome where the monuments and churches constructed with travertine have withstood the test of time and continue maintaining their elegance and majesty.
